Ahmad Butt. Ahmad recently completed a three year appointment of the Civil Procedures Rules Committee. He has also worked in various 'Legal Service Commission' funded Specialist Support Projects. He is long standing guest lecturer on the Personal Insolvency LLM programme at the London School of Economics.

Anthony Sharp.  Anthony has many years experience working in the credit field. Is a founder member and Chair of the Money Advice Liaison Group. Anthony now runs his own successful business as a consultant and trainer to the credit industry

Bradley Say. Bradley is a barrister who specialises in representing borrowers in consumer credit cases and is the author of the recent Quarterly Account article 'Non Status Lending: Recent Developments from a Borrower's Perspective'

Colin Trend. Colin has been working in the "free"; advice sector since 1995 and holds a training qualification.
Presently he manages two Advice UK projects in the Plymouth area, one of which is a project of the local MIND association. He has also been the IMA representative on the MALG Steering Party in 2005 looking into debt and mental health.

David Burdis. David joined the CAB Service as a volunteer in 1990 after working in Human Resources. He moved to his first paid post of money adviser in 1992 at Prestwich CAB before moving on to a debt adviser role at Salford City Council in 1997 where he worked for 9 years. He is now employed as the financial inclusion manager for Money Information Network Tameside (MiNT) where he provides a practical approach to the problems of financial exclusion. David is a former member of the Money Advice Association National Committee and was recently co-opted onto the IMA Council. He has been the co-chair (adviser) of the North West Discussion Forum, a Trustee of the United Utilities Trust Fund and in 2006 was voted Debt Adviser of the Year by Credit Today.

David Hawkes. David joined the CAB Service in 1992 after a career working for a firm of foreign banknote dealers. He has been Manager of Gloucestershire Money Advice Service, a specialist second-tier money advice unit, since May 2000. He has delivered a wide range of training courses on both money advice and welfare benefits topics. David is the Vice Chair of the Money Advice Liaison Group, and Vice Chair of the IMA and is a member of the Editorial Board of Quarterly Account.

Ian Ford. Ian is a freelance trainer and consultant. He is a former chair of both the IMA and the Public Utilities Access Forum. He was head of Manchester City Council's in- house Money, Housing, Consumer and Welfare Rights advice service. He has also worked developing the Community Legal Service in Lancashire. Over the last twenty years, Ian has contributed numerous articles on utility rights and utility debt to several publications including four editions of the Fuel Rights Handbook.

Jane Phipps. Jane has been an advice worker specialising in debt for 20 years and has worked for the London Borough of Lambeth and Oxford CAB before joining Citizens Advice in 1996. Jane currently works at the Specialist Support Unit. Jane has also been involved in academic research work into debt and its effects on debtors, and obtained a Ph.D. for her work in this area. She has published a book and various articles about debt, the county courts and money advice.

Jeff Brown. Jeff has 20 years experience in the field on money advice, having worked for a CAB, National Debtline, a bank and a mortgage lender. Jeff is now a successful freelance trainer and consultant in debt advice / benefits advice to the not for profit sector and credit industry. Jeff is also an approved MAT tutor.

John Kruse. John has worked in the field of social welfare for the last 20 years. He currently works for two CABx in East London. John is widely recognised as an expert in Bailiff Law and has been a regular contributor to Adviser and Legal Action. He has also written several books on bailiff law.

Sally Coles. Sally has been setting up, managing and supervising court help desks for the last 12 years. She has worked with the judiciary and a variety of organisations to identify good working practices when offering advice and lay representation in the courts. Sally worked for Shelter for 12 years and currently runs a successful freelance training and consultancy company. She is the MAT lead tutor for Generalist Level training and tutors MAT courses at all levels.
